I learned a lot during my build of the 2015 Toyota 4Runner, both good, and bad. And as I started to drive it in places like Baja I realized I couldn’t force a square peg into a round hole, and slowly I realized I wanted to build a Gen 2 Ford Raptor. After two trips on Trail of Missions I took notes on what I saw that worked well in that terrain, and in the back of my mind began to build the ideal Ford Raptor for my needs. What you see is the current state of the vehicle. It’s not stock, but it’s not over the top. It’s configured the same as a daily driver as it is hucking the truck through Baja, and that’s what I love about it.
Everything has evolved based on experience gained, each trip teaching me something new. As a result the rig gets better and better, forcing me to want to travel more and more. Have dog and truck, will travel.
