This was built in the summer of '03, I had previously owned a G36C, but it's size never felt all that great to me. Then a few months later I heard from a friend about a guy providing custom work to build G36Ks using real H&K G36 Parts. I started off with the single optic carry handle, and then moved to the Dual-Optic, then added the real stock, and forearm. The result is a gun which is almost as strong as the real deal, the only weak point on the thing is of course the airsoft plastic body. But in the end no airsoft specific conversion kit even comes close to the quality that you get by using the real parts. A fantastic indoor and outdoor gun.
